Perth Surf Park

Opening end of 2027.

Consultant for Aventuur (owners) in 2023 & 2024.

David was approached under the newly formed Bang Bang & Co banner, to work with and consult the Aventuur owners and executive team in modelling one of the core offerings of the Surf Parks now approved and fully funded project scheduled to open in Cockburn in late 2027.

As a Surf lifestyle park with value add experiences beyond just surfing perfect guaranteed waves, Bang Bang Co was engaged as an industry expert to focus on modelling the potential of an events lawn to compliment the overall expereince. The events lawn and supporting Venus modelled events functions, community and industry use, and activations. The other elements of the Surf Park model being Food & beverage, on-site accom and a wellness centre.

The work culminated in presenting a plan with scenario modelling of different ways to run and operate the events and functions spaces, as well as financial modelling on infrastructure and equipment investment that made the space viable for one off 3rd party users, ensuring maximise use and attendance to this important space in the overall model of this groundbreaking surf/lifestyle Park. Ongoing discussion with Aventuur continues regarding other stages of consulting leading into the implementation of the model, and the opening and launch of the space now funding is secured and the construction phase has commenced.
